Zanae Salgado, PA-C, was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, with an innate passion for  medicine and a deep desire to advocate for women’s health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in  Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was a Division I collegiate athlete  in cross country and track, before pursuing her Physician Assistant degree at Western University  of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

Her journey into surgical gynecologic oncology was driven by a commitment to ensuring that  every woman receives compassionate, comprehensive care. Witnessing the strength and  resilience of her grandmother facing complex health challenges inspired her to specialize in a  field where she could not only assist in life-changing surgeries but also empower patients with  knowledge and support. She believes that women’s healthcare goes beyond treatment—it’s about  restoring confidence, dignity, and quality of life. Dedicated to advancing her expertise, Zanae  works alongside skilled surgeons to provide exceptional patient care. She continually seeks  opportunities to improve outcomes and advocate for innovative approaches to women’s health.

In addition to her surgical oncology work, Zanae has experience performing genetic risk  assessments through City of Hope in California, helping evaluate hereditary cancer risk and  support patients in making informed decisions about their care.

Beyond medicine, Zanae finds balance through her family, two dogs, running, volunteering at her  church, and engaging with her community.Zanae Salgado, PA-C, was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, with an innate passion for  medicine and a deep desire to advocate for women’s health.
