Colon and Rectal Surgery
Colon and Rectal Surgery
Feel relief knowing you can place your colorectal issues in the hands of our doctors who specialize in colon and rectal services. Our colon and rectal surgeries range from therapeutic colonoscopic polyp removal to colonoscopy screenings.
Our doctors use the latest in state-of-the-art technology for their colon and rectal surgeries to provide colorectal patients with minimally invasive procedures to treat and prevent colorectal cancers and issues. Our use of the laparoscopic colon and rectal resection grants our patients with less pain and a quick recovery.
What is the colon and what does it do?
The colon is the large bowel or large intestine organ part of the digestive system of the body. This digestive tract is what allows us to eat and use food for fuel for our bodies.
The processing of food to the colon happens after the food passes through gallbladder and the liquid leftover heads to the colon to then become stool in the rectum and eventually released in the anus.
